Harvest - preparation – sowing

Plants that are in accordance with the location are needed to assure lasting cultivation of our forests. These plants have to be of origins that are listed in the German Forstvermehrungsgesetz (Law for Propagation of Forestry Crops – FoVG).

?+? Ltd can rent your accredited seed crop for harvest and offer the full service – from crop harvesting to growing of seedlings. We can provide you with the organization of the following subdisciplines:

• Preparation of rental agreements
• Collection of the seeds while preserving the trees
• Collection of large seeded fruits
• Collection of seed material using spread nets or machine suction
• Cleaning of the collected seed material
• Submitting of an application form  for issuance of Certificate of Origin in the respective institution
• Preparation of the seed material and its storage till sowing.
• Initializing the examination of seed material
• If you wish, we can prepare (manually or by machine) areas for sowing in your forests/woods/ and sow them according to the respective stratification with your own or purchased seeds.

Naturally, it is possible to grow seedlings  in nurseries or to purchase plants originating from your own seed material.
